Do not be fooled by the cute visage of this weaver ant. Alone, they seem just so. Cute, curious, cautious. Sniffing around, looking for new sources of food, for old pheromone-trail highways to its nest. Weaver ants are ruthless imperialists, as I slowly learned. Do wait for more on these fascinating, but frighteningly efficient insects.
